In blind

Hold’em, a marker called a ‘button’ or ‘distributor button’ represents the player who is the nominal dealer of the current game. Before the game starts, the player posts “small blinds” clockwise from the button immediately clockwise. Players post a “big blind” immediately clockwise from the small blind, which is usually twice the size of the small blind, but the blinds may vary depending on the betting structure and betting structure.

In limit games, the big blind is equivalent to a small bet; the small blind is usually half the size of the big blind, but can be larger depending on the stake. For example, in a $2 / $4 Limit game, the small blind is $1 and the large blind is $2. In the $15/$30 limit game, the small blind is $10 and the large blind is $15. In Pot Limit and No Limit games, games are represented by the size of the blinds (eg a $1/$2 Hold’em game has a small blind of $1 and a large blind of $2). Depending on the exact structure of the game, each player may be required to post an ‘ante’ (another type of forced bet that is usually smaller than the blinds posted by all players at the table) into the pot.

Now each player is dealt 2 hole cards. The betting action proceeds clockwise around the table, starting with the player under the gun (immediately clockwise in the big blind).

Player betting options

In  홀덤사이트, as in other forms of poker, the available moves are ‘fold’, ‘check’, ‘bet’, ‘call’ or ‘raise’. Available options depend on the previous player’s actions. If no one has placed a bet yet, the player can either check (reject a bet, keep the card) or place a bet. Subsequent players may fold, make or raise a bet if a player has placed a bet. To call is to match the amount bet by the previous player. Raising is an increase as well as previous bets.

After looking at the pre-flop hole cards, each player can play his or her hand by calling or raising the big blind. This action starts from the left side of the big blind and is considered a ‘live’ bet for this round. The player has the option to fold, call, or raise. For example, if the big blind is $2, you will need $2 to call, or $4 to raise money. The operation then proceeds clockwise around the table.

Note: Betting structures will vary depending on the variant of the game. An explanation of the betting behavior for Limit Hold’em, No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Hold’em can be found below.

Bets continue on all betting rounds (until all active players who are not folded place their equal bets on the pot).

Flop

Now, 3 cards are face up on the board. This is called a ‘flop’. In Hold’em, the three cards on the flop are community cards and are still available to any player in their hand. Bets on the flop start immediately clockwise by the active player from the button. The betting options are similar to pre-flop, but if no one has bet before, players can choose to pass clockwise to the next active player for confirmation.

When the betting action for a turn-flop round is complete, the ‘turn’ is face up on the board. A turn is the fourth community card in hold’em and is sometimes referred to as a ‘post street’.

Another betting round occurs, starting with the active player clockwise from the button.

Once the betting action on the river turn round is complete, the ‘river’ or ‘fifth avenue’ will face up on the board. River is the fifth and final community card in a hold’em game. Bets start with the active player immediately clockwise from the button and are subject to the same betting rules that apply to flops and turns as described above. If there are 2 or more players remaining at the completion of the final betting round of the match, the person who bets on the last round will display their cards, unless there are no bets on the last round.

The player with the best 5 poker hand wins the pot. For equal hands, the pot is divided equally among the players with the best hands. According to the hold’em rules, all outfits are the same.

Once the pot is awarded, a new hand in Hold’em can be played. Now the button moves clockwise to the next player, the blinds and antes are posted again, and a new player is dealt to each player.
