Every citizen of the nation is given an Aadhaar Card, which has a 12-digit unique number, by the UIDAI, or Unique Identification Authority of India. It operates as a single identifying document and provides evidence of identity and address.

In the modern day, having an Aadhaar card is a need. It serves as a source to verify your identity and residence and serves as confirmation that you are an Indian citizen. If you still don’t have an Aadhaar card, it is high time for you to subscribe for one.It is mandatory in India to have an Aadhaar Card to prove your identity and residential status. Many Banks, Insurance Companies, and other institutions ask for Aadhaar Card as an identity and address proof but you will have to first apply for an Aadhaar Card. There is no way to get an Aadhaar Card online because you will have to visit the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra and fill out the Aadhaar Form to get the Aadhaar Card. Biometric verification is also the major part before UIDAI issues an Aadhaar Card.

How to fill out the Aadhaar card application

Step 2: Fill in the form with the necessary details. Follow the instructions given in the form to avoid mistakes.

Step 3: Include the pertinent proof of identification, residence, and date of birth documents. These papers must be legitimate and recognised by UIDAI. Provide evidence of the member’s relationship with the introducer or Head of Family (HoF), if applicable.

Step 4: Go to the closest Aadhaar facility and turn in the form and the necessary paperwork.

Step 5: The employees at the center will take your picture and collect your biometric information, including your fingerprint and iris. Your information from the form will be uploaded to the database along with this information.

The acknowledgement slip, which includes your information, an enrollment ID, and the time and date of enrollment, should be collected in step six.

Step 6: Collect the acknowledgement slip that contains your details, enrolment ID, and the date and time of enrolment.

Step 7: You can track the status of your Aadhaar card with the enrolment ID.

Tips for filling out the form

  • Use capital letters: Use capital or uppercase letters to fill out the form with your information. Uppercase alphabets make it simpler to read and distinguish between letters. In this scenario, as opposed to lowercase linked letters, the likelihood of an error in your name, address, date of birth, and other facts is reduced.

  •  Keep the form tidy: Make an effort to keep the form tidy and free of ink blots. The data that appears on your Aadhaar card will change if the information you gave is not readable.
